The Grenade Members…

Grenade, are three musicians dedicated with experience who live and work from out of Warrington. With over 30yrs of playing experience in live and studio forums Grenade can deliver a live show that invites its audiences with some of the best rock songs around from over the rock decades. Grenade as a trio consists of:

 

John Morley

Drums…. John has a uncanny way of playing the drums and making it look easy and effortless yet, read the set list of artists and when hearing the songs live people soon understand just how accomplished a drummer John is with accuracy to detail and style, With twenty three years playing and influence from such giants as John Bonham, Cozy Powell, Nicko McBrain, Phil Collins to name a few, these influences have had a profound effect that gives John metronomic timing and power yet with style and drive that keeps the Grenade engine running.

 

Mark Burton

Bass…Burton plays with an aggressive and powerful attack that drives through the air and creates energy backed with thirty years playing experience with in the punk and rock genre playing in such bands as Alternative Attack (Holyhead), Monkey Jungle (Peterborough) touring Europe in the early 90’s. Working in a few punk bands with Gizz Butt (Prodigy) Andy Pinching (The Damned) and Spikey T Smith (Conflict) Burton pulls some of his style from some of the greatest influential bass players around that range from Geddy Lee, JohnEntwhistle and Flea. 

 

Diz

Lead Vocal/Lead Guitarist…Diz is an all round musician with a music career that spans over thirty years on guitar, bass, piano and drums Diz has worked with such bands and musicians as Cheap and Nasty, Dare, Chas and Dave, as part of a tribute to UFO Diz worked with Pete Way (UFO, Waysted, Ozzy) with studio and live experience to match his playing Diz brings the last piece to the Grenade jigsaw that fits with fast soloing skills and accuracy to rhythm that binds the power and aggression of Grenade with vocal power and height from influences from Joe Lynn Turner, Mercury, Coverdale, John Franham with guitar influences form Brian May, John Williams, James Taylor Stevie Via.
